AMENDMENT No. 1 [TECHNICAL]:
This is a technical amendment to the purpose paragraph.
On page 1, in line 7, strike and and substitute a
comma; and in line 8, after held insert , and a certain vote is
taken.
AMENDMENT No. 2: This
amendment clarifies that a rental facility in Montgomery County may not be
subject to a condominium conversion if the County or a municipal corporation
recognizes that a housing emergency exists, the County or municipal corporation
requires that a vote to convert be taken, and
the tenants vote to reject the proposed conversion.
On page 2, in line 51, after title
insert and
the tenants of the rental facility vote to reject the proposal to subject the
rental facility to a condominium regime.
