Feldman Elected Chairman and Lee Elected Vice Chairman
of the Montgomery County House Delegation
ROCKVILLE , MD , May 23, 2008 -- The Montgomery County House Delegation to the Maryland General Assembly unanimously re-elected Delegate Brian J. Feldman (D-15) as its Chairman to serve a second year and unanimously re-elected Delegate Susan C. Lee (D-16) to serve a third year as Vice Chairman at the Delegation’s annual organizational meeting yesterday evening.
Now serving in his second term in the House of Delegates, Delegate Feldman currently chairs the House Subcommittee on Banking, Economic Development, Science & Technology and is the House Chair of the legislature's Joint Committee on Technology Oversight. He is also a member of the House Economic Matters Committee.
Outside of the General Assembly, Delegate Feldman is a practicing attorney with a Washington D.C. law firm and an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Potomac with his wife and two children.
Delegate Lee has been a member of the House of Delegates since 2002. She is a Deputy Majority Whip and a member of the House Judiciary Committee where she also serves as chair of the Juvenile Law Subcommittee. Additionally, Delegate Lee holds the position of 1st Vice President for the Women Legislators of Maryland and she is a member of the National Conference of State Legislatures Communications, Financial Services & Interstate Commerce Committee.
Outside the General Assembly, Delegate Lee who has a concentration in intellectual property law, is Of Counsel to a Washington, D.C. law firm. She lives in Bethesda with her husband.
