Feldman on the death of Jane Lawton: We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing
of our friend and colleague, Jane Lawton. Her kind
nature and
Montgomery County has lost a remarkable
public servant who spent many years devoting herself to our community from
her time as PTA president, four terms as Chevy Chase mayor, her years as a
special assistant to County Executive Neal Potter and service as
the County Cable Administrator, and her time as a State Delegate. Jane truly stood out as a highly respected member of the General
